Great piece of kit
I have to preface this review by stating that I have only used it twice since purchasing it, so its not a long term review. I bought it because my other headlamp was heavy and bounced all over the place and I read some reviews about this and thought this could work. I am very impressed with it so far, its more than bright enough for uses for night running. There are areas that I could not run before because it was way too dark (I didn't want to trip and break my neck at night because I couldn't see) and now I run with confidence there. My first two runs have been a night when it has been almost pitch black except for a few areas where there is adequate lighting. Not once did I feel that I had to be extra careful. In fact the only time I felt that way was when heard footsteps coming toward me in the distance and I suspected it was another runner and it was (running in dark clothing with no lights...not smart but I digress). I was soon able to see them with the light and that just confirmed what my ears hear so great. The head strap took minimal adjustment and stayed firmly in place while I ran so I think for an inexpensive running light its more than adequate. If you are a serious trail runner maybe it wont meet your needs but for basic night running or non serious trail running I think you're good.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Well made but badly designed
Bright light and very well made as you'd expect BUT - the bottom of the light lets out a very bright light into your eyes and makes using it in the dark very difficult as the light emanating from the bottom of the lamp is just too bright! I use it for running but the flood of light coming from the bottom of the lamp unit is blinding so it's pretty useless as a head torch. I have stuck black tape to the bottom to try and prevent the downward glow but to no avail. It is very poorly thought out and generally very badly designed indeed so much so that even though it is a well made product I am returning it.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Good performance out of cheap plastic
The performance of this headlight is good, good brightness and easy settings. It is light and stays well on the head, also has a comfortable headband. The downsize is that is made out of cheap plastic which I doubt it is weatherproof. I am not confident that it will resist any decent rain. For the price it is OK.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Superb Headlight.
Initially I bought this headlight as a backup for myself for night fishing. However, I would be quite happy to use it as my main headlight as it is really bright and gives a really good ammount of light. It is a comfortable fit and VERY light on your head.
