Cheap to run, ideal for outbuilding.
Had this for quite a while now. Set up in my out building gym. Through the winter I had no damp, no condensation. So did the job perfectly. Didn't help to reduce cold draughts from the porch, needed something a with a bit power.
Using it in our porch but doesn't have any impression on the temperature thought it might reduce cold drafts, obviously needed something with more power. Quality of the item is OK and it would be good value in the right place I guess. Had a Dimplex many years ago similar size 3ft and I'm sure it gave out more heat than this does, and yes I have checked I've got the thermostat fully up. CHEAP TO RUN !
This tube heater has the advantage of having a manually operated thermostat where you can set your own preferred temperature unlike most other models. It works extremely well and helps to reduce condensation in our bedroom. I am just about to order another one from them to use in our lounge. Good splashproof low power heater
Easy to set up on plank for greenhouse use. Only splashproof so remove it on its plank while watering. We use it beneath seedlings so that warm air flows up through them continuously, thus protecting the seedlings from frost. At only 120 watts it's NOT capable of heating large areas so will not heat even a small greenhouse. Used in small confined spaces its pretty good and the thermostat prevents it from overheating things. i bought this for my caravan as its freezing at night time with no heating left on. With this running all night it certainly keeps the chill off and when i turn my usual heating on it now only take a few minutes to get the place nice and hot and not the long time it used to take! i will buy two more, one for the bathroom which i will put under the towel rail and one for the hallway.
