Why, Dimarzio? WHY??!!
First off - Dimarzio makes the best pickups on planet earth, and my favorite straps of all times. I own over 60 Dimarzio pickups and 31 Cliplock straps. I just picked up a new guitar so bought this baby without reading that it was elastic. It shows up at my door and I figure I will try it anyway. NO WAY!! I may as well play without a strap. The idea of a little give is maybe a good idea, but this baby is like playing a rubber band. The height of the guitar seriously moves over a foot. (This is a big heavy mahogany guitar, so that may make it way worse.) But you can't adjust it to have it be right. It is like playing darts with a moving dart board. I need to re-learn how to play guitar, er something. In summary, just way too much movement. Maybe if I had elastic ends that bolt to the guitar, but a standard strap. But this just won't work. First one to my door gets a free dimarzio elastic strap, as long as you arrive before trash day. Now I have to buy another one to play this guitar this weekend. That teaches me to not read MUCH closer. Darn you Larry!!! What were you thinking??!!

The Stretch version doesn’t slide like the nylon.
I use this on my short scale guitar. The weight of the guitar will flex the strap about 3/4” just tighten up on the strap to compensate for the drop. But what’s great is this fabric doesn’t slid as easy as the nylon seatbelt one.
