Can never have too many bobbins!
I have a Janome machine that is very fussy - using their own brand is ideal and I feel this is very good value for money. Also a good quality product and very durable. I still have the originals and some from an earlier Janome machine that work perfectly well. As I do more patchwork I have a lot of bobbins with different colour threads - and was running out of spares! I don't like to waste thread so they will be used eventually. I also quilt and quilting uses several bobbins before completion. I like to fill 4 or 5 bobbins before starting a quilt so that I can quickly swap them round when they run out of thread. Then I can judge how many more I'll need to wind before I finish. I shall probably need some more at some stage!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Better than unbranded "compatible" bobbins
These look exactly the same as most "compatible" unbranded bobbins but just a slight sizing problem can be the reason for no end of problems. So why bother risking the stress of having to problem solve. I never buy compatible bobbins anymore.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Even Feed and no Jams
I use these bobbins in my top loading Janome DXL603. I started off by buying cheaper bobbins on ebay from other manufacturers but I have found them to all have problems. They either don't fit over the spooling spindle when you're trying to get thread on the bobbin (or they break as you put them on) or they are the wrong size for the loading mechanism so either rattle around or jam in. Either of these causes the thread to jam causing wasted time trying to get the bobbin out and the jam cut out. I have wasted hours on these problems. With these Janome bobbins I haven't had a single problem, they fit over the spindle easily and fit into the mechanism perfectly. Buy genuine
I mistakenly tried to buy a cheaper version of bobbins for my Janome sewing machine. Didn't try them straight away then found they didn't fit the bobbin winding spool. Bought these Genuine bobbins a little bit more expensive (not much though) and quality showed. Fit perfectly on the bobbin winder and in the bobbin holder. Expensive but they do work
