Great buy and works well
When I got this lighter, I filled it up, waited a minute and set the flame control to a low setting and depressed the switch. Lemon?
Well, initially I liked it just fine, it worked like it was suppose to, seemed to be well built tight, nice finish. This was pretty much my assessment of it for a week. For whatever reason however, it became hard to ignite, then after about 2-3 days of being difficult to ignite, it finally went belly up. So, as of now, it's a paperweight. Well constructed and easy to use.
I finally broke down and bought and upper end lighter - I have had several lower cost units which did not always work well or last long when in use. This unit is compact, well balanced, attractive and works well in the wind. Nice, heavy, well made lighter for the price. The only thing I don't like is the plastic flame adjustment screw, seems if it's used too often the slot will spread and become larger, making it hard to adjust. Overall, a nice lighter that should last.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
