Get one and grow musically.
The industry standard Boss RC 1 loop station is a great place to start your looping experience. It is easy and intuitive to use once you have become accustomed to the pedal settings but once you have it is a wonderful tool for making great loops and playing along with them which really improves your skills of playing lead and bass parts. It really brings out your creativity and once you get the hang of it, it'll be your best friend! Only real con for me is that it will only store the last loop you made. Bit if you make a killer loop you want to keep just record it into your DAW or portable sound recorder - I use a Zoom H4N Pro and record a good 5 to 10 minutes of loops I really don't want to lose. For the price this is a very robust anf compact bit of kit that will take your guitar/keyboard/vocal harmonising skills to the next level and beyond!Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Very simple pedal to use but well worth buying the Boss FS 5U Pedal to use [STOP and CANCEL] features
I really like this pedal, although have nothing to compare it to. Like many guitarists, I decided to take the plunge and get a loop pedal. Having been told how notoriously difficult they are to command, I had already managed my expectations. I watched a couple of YouTube vids on this pedal and they all seem to favour the extension of the FS 5U (£25 or so extra). I think without this extension pedal, it could be a bit awkward but I've never tried it to be fair. If you don't have good timing, you'll use it once and it will become a paperweight. If your timing is reasonable, it is super for solo playing, practicing solo and scales, improving your timing and with the addition of some other stomp effects, you can get pretty creative too. Once nice feature this pedal has is the two inputs. Technically, you could plug two guitars into the pedal as there are A and B inputs and outputs. I've not used this feature but it would allow a solo player to stick some rhythm down on an electroacoustic and then pick up a electric guitar or bass to overlay. It's reasonable value for money, although as loop pedals are 'in vogue' at the moment, you'll not find many bargains. Hope this review helps!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
