very heavy thermal lining paper.
The liner is very thick and heavy but also very expensive. Only time will tell if it does the job it is intended to do. If you are putting it up on a plain wall it is surprisingly easy to do and the result looks quite impressive. However, if it is being fitted around door or window frames or curtain rails it is much more difficult to get a good finish either by butt - jointing it or folding around corners. Consequently, I had to purchase a roll of wallrock fibreliner original to go over the top and leave an acceptable finish for painting. Don't try to overpaint this!
I tried to paint over this insulation paper with a fairly dark colour. I painted, bought more paint, then more, much more. The paper just sucked it up. I had to paint the surface with four coats. After about a week the edges had shrunk just slightly away from each other - revealing the lighter paper down the cracks. Not a good result! On the next wall however, I wallpapered over the insulation paper - and that has worked a treat!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

This liner is useful for eliminating condensation and mould on a cold exterior wall, and especially around window frames. It makes the room a bit warmer too. I would recommend using their lining paper that is designed to go on top of it, as the thermal liner tends to shrink and leave gaps at the joins.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
