A Real Life Saver
Zip up 2.5 Inch Portable External Hard Drive Case 2TB Western Digital Elements HDD (it is generic - check the size as shown). 2TB WD goes in perfectly and is held securely by an elastic strap on one side of the clam-shell case. The other half has a netted section to house the connection cable and or USB. When zipped up it will afford good all round protection from knocks bangs and even drops from a sensible height. Better price than other equivalent cases on eBay (and elsewhere), and reasonable quality for the price. And unlike some cases advertised on eBay as being for external hard drives, these cases are actually large enough to fit an external (spinning) hard drive. Perfect Size for Western Digital portable Hard drives.
Perfect size for my Western Digital My Passport Ultra portable Hard Drives with strap to hold drive securely and mesh pocket to hold cable. I can carry my drives around without fear of damage. I can see that these case would also be good for other manufacturers drives given the internal sizing of 14 x 8.5 x 1.5 cms. The outer casing is of a smooth EVA and would in my opinion be very hard wearing. I have 4 of these and will purchase more in future as I add more drives.
