Very useful, excellent steamer bags.
Excellent for steaming vegetables in the microwave. There's a useful guide regarding the length of time to steam each veg, but you can adjust this to your taste. Veg keeps it's colour and I would say is just as good as steaming over boiling water - just less time consuming and no pans to wash. Wouldn’t be without these.
These steam bags were excellent value on eBay,having paid a lot more in other places. Been using these large ones for years.Use them for veg and the large take 2/3 portions, depending on how much you eat. Having tried these as an experiment, I think they are a great idea. I steam all my vegetables instead of boiling them, and these save on the washing up as I can put all my veg in one bag and cook in one go. Pleasantly surprised
I was pleasantly surprised that they worked as well as they did. It corn pops perfectly the only drawback is the bag gets really steamed up. So recommend removing the corn ASAP.
