Good but getting old
Useful for maintaining set temperature in the house but technology is a little dated now. User interface is a bit clunky and unit does keep losing wireless connection to base station on boiler. Overall it’s easy to install and useful but needs upgrade.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Over-complicated and temperamental
Check out the bevy of one-star reviews on Amazon to confirm that this is not the world's favourite room thermostat. We are now on our fourth VRT350f during our eight-year ownership of a Vaillant boiler. The original one started to go berserk a couple of years in, refusing to budge from the German language after a routine battery change. The next one, to be fair, did last for a few years without problems. Then a few weeks ago the clock part went wrong, gaining hours at a time. The replacement... er, did exactly the same! Finally, Vaillant supplied and fitted the fourth one under product guarantee, and we're currently monitoring it. The general thought from professionals seems to be that it's over-complicated and temperamental, and I would agree with that. So caveat emptor!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
