OK but noisy and pricey
I have a few of these fans around the house.
They do not turn your radiator into a fan heater but they 'waft' the warm air coming out of the top of the radiator into the room. The aim is to circulate the heat from the radiator more quickly around the room.
Provided the room isn't drafty then the Radfan is quite effective.
This Radfan was slightly different to the ones I had bought previously in that it had six small fans inside rather than four. Whilst this does increase the effectiveness of the fan, it also increases the noise. I found the 4 fan units much quieter. Although the noise isn't too excessive, I think many people would not want to have it going in a room where they were trying to sleep or possibly even a Study. We use ours in the Lounge and once the TV is on, we don't notice it.
Also, the Radfan is little more than a few fans in a plastic case with some magnets and, as such, with a typical asking price of just under £70 for the medium size model, it seems rather pricey.
Overall, if you can pick up the medium size (90cm width) model for under £60 and (more importantly) you don't mind some background noise then I think the Radfan is a worthwhile purchase.
