Not bad
It is a bit time consuming to load the negs and direct them into the slot - was so fiddly that I ended up just feeding the negs in by hand - which wasn't ideal. The software is easy to use. The quality is OK but there is no adjustment for anything whilst you are doing it. It think the later version lets you adjust brightness and something else, but with this one it has to be done post scan. For more special photos I use my Epson photo scanner which has digital ice technology but the ION is OK for non special photosVerified purchase: YesCondition: Refurbished

don't buy this not suitable for iMac apples
