The SuperCube 4000 speakers from Definitive Technology deliver an amazing loud bass performance. It combines this impressive capability with innovative features, which have been engineered for maximum performance, convenience and connectivity. With these subwoofers, you get super-powered, ultra-modern looking speakers that deliver amazing low frequencies that will leave you and your audience amazed and delighted. They boast powerful, high definition drivers with ultra-stiff cones and specially formulated surrounds. The long-throw voice coils are pressure-coupled, to ultra-low bass radiators, to deliver the tightest, low-distortion bass ever. These pieces of Def Tech audio equipment are great for a home theater, night club, rock concert or rave type situation when it’s about big sound and bass, but for discerning ears that don’t want distortions. This technology includes CS4000’s peak power handling 1200W and Nominal Power1200W. It has a frequency responses of 16 Hz to 200 Hz and a sensitivity of 92dB. Its impedance is 4ohms. Definitive Technology SC4000 subwoofers have an integrated 56-bit Digital Signal Processor (DSP) and extended bass response. The multiband dynamic range optimizer (M-DRO) divides frequency into ranges, and compresses them at any range that’s overloaded, to prevent distortion and damage while playing your tunes. They are also wireless subwoofers and have a remote and digital readout programming which you can easily to tailor your, or your audiences, listening requirements. You can adjust the sound’s equalizations, phase control and crossover frequencies in seconds. These frequencies are 40Hz to 150kHz and there are phase settings that can be locked at 0-, 90-, 180-, 270-, and 360-degrees. The remote has a performance optimizer remote (included with Subwoofer) and has a volume up or down switch, mute, night mode on and off, a low pass filter, EQ, display and phase, so step back into the party or sit in the sofa in your home theater and control the audio to perfection. The SuperCube4000 has a smart, powerful, environmentally friendly digital tracking amplifier, delivering high-impact, low-distortion bass at all the right moments, while consuming much less energy. Very loud bass and great subwooy.
This is a really good subwoofer. It looks very stylish and sounds terrific. It is far louder than ai thought it would be. Very deep bass only when the bass hits in movies or music, BUT it is LOUD!!! Expectations are fulfilled.
This SuperCube 4000 is being used to round out a 5.2 surround system. I am now a believer of the necessity of giving speakers a breaking in period. It took about 4 months for this speaker to make its presence really known. Now we happily are experiencing a richer, a more alive sound stage. We were aiming for more accuracy, not more volume.
