Bathroom light with shaver socket in it .
The light is fine and has a voltage switch for changing the voltage that an electric shaver works on . the diffuser cover on light removes from the lamp to fit a new light tube 60w max the light from it is good . follow instructions for removal lightly squeeze it . but as the lamp has a safety feature if the diffuser is removed from the lamp the 240v power wont light the tube to stop shock hazzard . make sure you have the diffuser fitted correctly in place before switching the light on as it wont work continuously and you will think its faulty but its not . re check that its properly in place . it can be slightly fiddly to get it right . but its fine when properly in place.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

String too short.....
This product was good value for money apart from the shortness of the string which made it difficult to put a proper end on that is easy to clean and grasp. The end supplied is plastic and string etc would get dirty quickly. I now have to take the whole thing off the wall in order to access said string and put new string in situ. Very good for the price
The light is fairly plainly styled, but is quite acceptable and adequately robust, remembering it is likely to be in a safe position above a mirror. An electrician would install this very quickly, but a DIY-er would have only the usual difficulties which plague them - rawlplugs messing up the plasterboard, mains cable not long enough to re-site the unit etc. The method of clipping the front cover on to the unit is rather reliant on flexing the plastic, and a CLEAR diagram would stop you worrying that it is about to snap.
