The sound quality on this Audio CD is appalling and I cannot recommend it.
The sound quality is appalling. The narrator's voice was virtually inaudible - started off the sentences at normal level, but by the time he had got to the end of the sentence it was impossible to hear or understand what he was saying because it was so muffled and fuzzy. Either he was a rotten narrator, or the actual sound recording was very badly edited. I though perhaps I was going deaf! But my daughter also listened to it and said she thought it was dreadful, and my reactions were correct. We went through side 1, stopping at various points to see if the sound got better. But it did not. So we gave up and now it sits here, abandoned because it is impossible to listen to. I tried other audio CD's to see if my CD machine was maybe at fault, but these worked fine - no problems with the sound at all. What a waste of money, and a great shame because the story sounded really interesting and I was looking forward to HEARING it.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
