The NetGear N600 is an Internet router that features wired and wireless connectivity. The unit is compatible with IEEE 802.11a, Fast Ethernet, Ethernet, IEEE 802.11b, IEEE 802.11n, and IEEE 802.11g data link protocols. The Network/Transport protocols utilised by the NetGear wireless N router are TCP/IP and PPPoE. Routing protocols are RIP-1 and RIP-2 while Remote Management Protocol is HTTP. For security purposes, the four-port router is equipped with WPA-PSK, WPA2-PSK, 128-bit WEP, and 64-bit WEP encryption. Features include DoS attack prevention, Green Ethernet, ReadySHARE , Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS) , Wi-Fi Multimedia (WMM) support, and Quality of Service (QOS). The processor for the NetGear N600 is a MIPS MIPS32 with a 480 MHz speed. Internal memory preinstalled on the NetGear wireless N router is 64 MB of RAM with 8 MB of flash. Connection options for the four-port router include four LAN port, a WAN port, and a USB port. Dimensions for the NetGear wireless N router are 22.35 cm wide by 15.24 cm deep by 3.04 cm high.
