I bought this as a handy spare to carry when cycling long distances, in case my chain broke far from home. So far I have not had to use it but it appears to be of high quality and I am confident that it would do the job. Connex quick release chain connector
Super ease to install and remove and well made. Unfortunately it was causing my chain to "jump" on the largest rear gear ring. This is due to the Connex plates being thicker than the plates on the original connector. I had never tried 1 of these quick release links & thought it might not work for some reason? How silly of me, it is a great idea & very easy to fit to the cycle chain. I now always carry a spare in my tools selection at all times too for emergencies. I bought the Wipperman chain too & that is also a great product.
