Good for the money - and it's the cheapest you can buy
I got mine as a "new/customer return" for a lot less than the going rate of £45 to £60 - I paid just over £30. It's pretty lightweight, with tubular ally construction prone to dings and dents, but for non-pro use it's fine - just don't pile heavy gear on it if it's laid flat. The 2-section telescopic leg uses metal screw locks not quick-release plastic catches, so they lock in position firmly and there's no vertical slippage under load. Since you'd usually carry it round the job with the legs fully extended to suit your height, the extra time screwing/releasing the leg locks compared to plastic flip locks is neither here nor there The legs are tipped with sturdy metal spikes with heel press plates, so no problem with stability on earth or even tarmac surfaces. One design issue is that the legs have no angle lock to fix them at a 'normal' working angle - which could make working on flat, smooth surfaces a problem - they just pull out from the vertical position to whatever the angle limit is. If the working area is smooth and hard, they legs could splay out like a drunken donkey if the metal tips have no real grip. I used a ratchet spanner to tighten the 3 leg mounting nuts up under the head, so they have a lot more natural friction to hold their angle position more tightly. Apart from that, this is a perfectly usable, occasional use non-pro tripod which is easy to carry round and set up. Comes with a flimsy polyester carry bag.
