Product Delivered Faster than Amazon and worked like a charm

I read some reviews that stated you could install this without pulling the steering wheel and air bag and decided to give it a try. It actually worked but needed to take my time and not bull through the job. My escape starts like new again!

    Longer delivery than expected

It’s currently two weeks past the latest expected date for my package to arrive, and I haven’t gotten it yet. This is likely because I live in Hawaii but just wanted to warn those who do not on the mainland. I’m sure it’s a great product, but I’ve had to live longer without my second car because of this delay.

  • 08 Ford Escape Hybrid works great again.

This is the correct part and it works great on my 08 Ford Escape Hybrid. I got this months ago and just installed it myself. It wasn't very hard to installed once you watched the YouTube video but I did it without removing my steering wheel. Make sure you have a hack saw or Dremel tool to make slot in the bolt to screw it out. A 5.5 mm shallow socket remove three screws. Once the screws and the connectors are removed just twist the device to left and not just pulling back and it will just fall off. Putting just do the opposite and line it from bottom and it fall in place.

  • OEM quality part that fixes the no start issue in Focus cars.Saves you $$$$$

This is what youre gonna need to fix that key wont start your Ford Focus.Youre gonna start with the cheaper lock cylinder, but this is the part you’ll most likely need to actually fix it. I did the cylinder replacement twice before buying this and all problems were fixed and have stayed fixed since. If you are fairly proficient working on cars and can follow Youtube directions this shouldnt be too hard to replace, and it will save you several hundred bucks over a shop. It seems to me to be very good quality, not a cheap knockoff you can tell just by picking it up. Save your money on buying the cheaper parts that you want to try first and get this and fix it the first time.

  • This is the correct product for a Ford Focus 2008

This is the correct product for 2008 Ford Focus it does work properly it does fix the key switch problem it's relatively easy to install although it can be a bit intimidating to cut a slide in the safety bolt that holds the switch on it does come with the key switch the electric key switch the crossover bar and will replace everything you need to get your car running again the seller did deliver promptly I got to give them a 10 on that.

  • Works Great

Installed part no. 9L8Z-3511-A on my 2009 Mercury Mariner. Works great. Used a small ratchet with a 5.5m socket for that hard to get at bolt. Used a set punch to remove the smooth headed bolt. No trouble.

  • Easy fix

Easy to install, fixed problem. Just be sure you have a 5.5 mm nut driver before you start. If you have electric latch on your hatch might be good idea to get what you need out before disconnecting battery.

  • Escape starting again

This Ford switch assy is just what was needed for my 2010 Escape. The first one wore to the point of not starting at times. Wonderful Ford design. I was able to get the unit in without removing the steering wheel and clockspring, so all was good.
