Poor quality, sticky, very thin walled bags.
Very thin and flimzy, some burst at the bottom, also from the roll they stick together badly so are hard to prize apart for use. The same type cheaper in the shops I believe, but I would buy another brand. Annoyingly there is no brand name on the bags making it easy to avoid these.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Don't fit the food recycling bin!
Bought these for the food waste bins that the council has gave us all for food waste recycling. Council gave us a couple of rolls to get us started, their bags fitted bin perfectly. I did call them and ask if we could get these ones replaced when I finished them, which I would have paid for. They informed me that you have to buy them elsewhere yourself. I didn't even realise that you could buy them!! I went online and saw these, and thought brilliant! When they arrived tried to fit it round the edge of the little food bid, but the bag was tiny. No use at all !! You would need a much smaller container. Council bin is ideal as it has a lid attached, so no odour of flies, ideal for it purpose, but not with these bags.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Ordered these as our local council have stopped providing free biodegradable food waste bags. Price was good and they arrived on time. My only gripe is that though they are 50 litres bags they do not fit quite as well as my previous ones. Im sure these bags are fine for some. But they dont fit my standard issue coventry city council plastic 5L compost caddy. Too narrow at the top so bag wont quite stretch around rim of caddy. Check size before you buy.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Did not fit my 5L caddy
I have a small Caddy 5L and these bags are not wide enough to stretch fit over the edge rending them usless to me. There is nothing wrong with the material used, but not fitting the caddy means they are no good at all to me. Food waste bags
I had thought these bags excellent value for money until I tried to use them. The material is poor quality, very thin. And badly made. When you try to detach the bags they tear and come apart at the seam so are no longer a bag, just a sleeve! Also, I don’t understand why a hard cardboard sleeve was required for these bags. Totally not needed and a waste of resources. As a result the bags were too large to post through the letter box and I had to wait in for the courier to deliver. Not very good to use. But fit my small caddy very well.
