In addition, this Garmin receiver is specifically designed to accommodate a variety of traffic and weather alert interfaces through its built-in remote transponder controls. This avionics GPS receiver supports 12 parallel channels for a high degree of precision tracking. I have a Garmin Chirp 55DV that was supposed to have great marine maps,well if you use the device on a lake in Australia the map looks like it came from a childs play box.
