Good Wall Mount Half Lantern
Had this type and make on house for 10 years now, admittedly without the sensor however their plastic construction have withstood all weathers with no issues. Even lenses have stayed clear. So bought these two with sensors for the outside of my garage to match my others. Opened the box, yes same fittings, same quality so no reason why these will not last 10 years. Easy to set up and attach to wall with entry for the cable at the top. Great item, but .....
This lantern looks great and works great and is excellent value but has one unfortunate drawback. It is made of plastic and therefore unless you are mounting it onto a perfectly flat surface (which is not often the case if it is a brick wall) you will end up with gaps between the front cover and the back mounting plate which may render it not waterproof. Not a lot to add what it says on the tin! Well made and looks very well in place; rather more classy than the usual white lantern types. Works well. PIR Lanterns
These are actually obsolete and I bought them to replace an identical pair that were weathered more than 10 years old and had failed PIRs. The PIR units are specific to this type of lantern and can't be obtained separately. This pair were new old stock so pretty much a straight swap and are a nicer looking lantern than others available.
