C-3000ZOOM delivers amazingly sharp shots with fantastic colors. To ensure optimum results and ease of use, this camera offers a range of metering systems and automatic modes. Measurements for both the focus and white balance are taken through the lens (TTL) while either ESP (electro selective pattern) or spot metering are on hand to assess exposure requirements. Additionally, by shooting a series of shots at different settings, the auto-bracketing function helps find the optimum exposure in tricky lighting conditions.However, the photographer may also wish to set the camera manually to attain individual results. In this case, focus, exposure, white balance and sensitivity are all individually adjustable. Further creative input is made possible thanks to the picture effects. By shooting in black and white or the yellow-brown tones of sepia, a completely different feeling can be imparted to the image. For capturing text in perfect clarity, the blackboard and whiteboard functions may also be selected. In sequence mode the camera can shoot at 1.2 - 1.8 frames a second and resets the AF for each exposure. This guarantees all the action is frozen in breathtaking clarity. The movie recording option, on the other hand, enables just the opposite. As a further benefit, this CAMEDIA model enables sound to be recorded with movie sequences. Moreover, four seconds of audio may be saved with a still shot. Ideally suited to the large file sizes generated by this three-megapixel model, a USB interface permits the fast and trouble-free downloading of files from the camera. Incredible camera
This is a really great camera that takes high quality, detailed photos - just get acquainted with the settings. I have a more expensive canon model that was a complete disappointment....takes the blurriest, grainiest pictures. This used camera cost me 15 dollars, but works like brand new and is just an overall amazing experience. I had two others (same model), but lost them while moving, so this is my third time purchasing it - that's how much I love it. It's great for novice photographers and more seasoned pros alike. Bought used camera. Does not work

Great but has some obsolescence problems
This is a great product, but, unfortunately, Olympus no longer supports it and the software will not work on Windows 10. The work-around is to use a card reader but note that the cards are no longer being manufactured either. Olympus GOLD!
I bought and sent back 5 digital cameras before finding this gem! I read the owner's manual once and never had to again! Just SO easy to use. And the picture qualify cannot be over-stated! From a block away, I took a picture of the Boston Symphony ordinary gray building from a bus. I enlarged and enlarged in Photoshop, and magically appeared picture of the symphony flag outside the building and invisible to me from where I shot the photo.. Just like my old camera
