  • Info. is up to date. Self Preservation is key to a good future (Non GMO etc) A+, USER FRIENDLY. Kudos - author R. Gladstar for a great self help book

Yes, as stated, these days so many people are to be found at the local grocer looking for NON GMO products. We simply do not want chemicals in our food, well to date, I have not "ran into anyone that doesn't "seem to care" if chemicals are in their tomatoes or tumeric, or what have you. This book could easily be considered a starter guide to self preservation, naturally. However it is more, MUCH MORE than a starter quide. So simple to say, EVERYONE SHOULD HAVE ONE OF THESE BOOKS, though does ring of a cliche. Everyone though ... should have one of these books, even if your garden is rooftop or a 6' X 8' rectangular raised box garden. I highly recommend this book.

  • Home Herbalist Gardener's Go-To

Perfect for the aspiring Kitchen Pharmacy and Herb Gardener's guide. Complete with Tools list, clearly Identified Plants, beautiful illustration and growing needs. Includes great recipes for common ailments. Called Beginners guide but I feel its for all herbalist or homeopathic enthusiasts due to its U.S. common Plants we can grow in our home beds. The illustrations are truly beautiful and inspires the nature lover in me. Not only are these plants beneficial for health; they are beneficial for the ecosystem of pollenators, and other harden dwellers.
