Perfect amp for near field monitoring
The Crown D series amps are all excellent products. I'm using the D-75A to power near field 8 ohm monitors. Excellent sound quality, absolute silence (no fans), and built like a tank. I especially like the XLR inputs. The one rack space size it certainly a welcome feature. Crown geat
Purchased my first crown gear in 1972. I still use it today. It sits right alongside my high end Cary audio gear and my VAC gear. When this old gear is recapped, it is absolutely dead quiet. Extremely revealing and when paired with the right speakers, as I do use BMW speakers, the sound is dynamic and transparent.
