The Kenwood KA-3020 is a distinctive and elegantly designed stereo integrated amplifier with an improved output stage to ensure maximum and good sound quality. The Kenwood amplifier is equipped with a range of output and input possibilities. A Phono input is joined by three line level sources which include CD, Aux and Tuner. There are two separate sets of replay sockets labeled Tape/DAT I and 2 which allow recording and listening together. The Kenwood KA-3020 is packed with an option known as source direct that allows the shortest possible signals that do not pass through balance controls to give clear audible sound when required. This Kenwood amplifier has 45 W per channel, minimum RMS. This amplifier has a low impedance driving capability . It needs an AC 240 V power supply. The Kenwood KA-3020 is designed to have a logical flow structured. This stereo integrated amplifier has bass and treble dials and a balance control to control the sound quality as required. It has selector switches for two speaker phones.

Kenwood ka-3020se
This amp will easily compete with budget amps today,hifi amplification hasn't changed much in twenty years and the quality and sound of this special edition Kenwood is in so uch better than today offerings. The bass is deep yet controlled the treble is precice and sweet sounding and the mid range is so informative all this combined gives a beautifully balanced sound with a very good stereo imagery. All in all be of the best integrated amplifers ever made.

Kenwood 3020 vrs 3020se
I have owned the 3020se, found that the bass is way to lean, not punchy enough for me, perhaps this amplifier is suited to classical music lovers, not an all round amplifier. On the other hand the kenwood 3020 original i found to be suitable for me, due to the loudness facility. You can achieve a great sound with the loudness switched on, then the bass set to 11 o clock and then the treble set to 1 o clock or less if you desire. I listen to a variety of music and found, i could better achieve the sound i like with the loudness option with the 3020, and the sound quality was not that different from the 3020se.

Great Kenwood Amplifier in full working order
My earlier Kenwood amplifier that I had had since 1997 suddenly did not work = time to buy a replacement = I looked on Ebay and found this model which has been fine. I disconnected all the cables one at a time making a note of what went where, and bought some cable connectors for the speaker cables and connected those. Once I had completed all this, I switched on and the KA-3020 did what it was supposed to do: Amplify! I was thrilled to bits [1] that all cables had been correctedly connected [2] each of the units connected to the Kenwood KA-3020 worked and the quality of the sound was fantastic. This had clearly been a great buy and worth every penny spent
