Perfect for camping

Mixed opinion
Product arrived quickly and in tact. Found the exact same make of toaster for £1 less in our local camping store. Used it to toast a some speciality 4 cheese bread we had left over; this meant the slices were small (about the size of a digestive biscuit) so it was a bit of a balancing act to stack the slices and it seemed to take an age before they were done but eventually all slices were toasted nicely. Yum. 2nd attempt was using standard size bread slices; again, the process was quite time consuming and you need to watch carefully as some slices browned much quicker than others - the slice towards the back always browned far quicker. The nice shiny look of the toaster disappeared once it was used, leaving an unattractive dull, brown/black coating that couldn't be removed. We've kept the box it came in, so that we can store it this rather than 'dirty' other camping equipment. At the end of the day, it's a nice treat to have toast whilst out camping. We'll still use the toaster but probably not replace it when it dies.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

4 slice toaster
This toaster is good value, it is light and folds flat taking up very little room. It is however difficult to toast bread well, it catches on sides, needs frequent turning on the rack which isn’t easy and the crumbs that fall off the bread as you move it burn on the middle of the hot plate in the middle. We tried to use it in our caravan but it kept setting off the smoke alarm as the crumbs burnt. Good idea but not terribly practical.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Useless
I've used this once and very disappointed with it. Tried toasting 1 slice of bread on it and it takes absolutely ages to get any colour on the bread, and then you have to turn it round to do the other side. It does nothing but dry the bread out. The product is very flimsy and jof sure it would last long at all. I dread fo think how much gas I wasted trying this product. I do not recommend this product at all. Not impressed
I heard this toaster was useless for camping but worked better on a gas hob in a campervan so bought one. It took a long time to toast the bread which was completely dried out in the process and it used a lot of cooking gas so wouldn't recommend it.
