The Nintendo Game Boy Micro's battery lasts between five and eight hours depending on the brightness setting. This means you can use it for extended gaming sessions or for short sessions several days in a row without having to recharge. This limited-edition Micro has a black control pad with a similar feel to the classic Nintendo Entertainment System Gamepad. You’ll quickly become familiar with and get the hang of the game controls, which are characterized by the traditional A, B, Select, Start arrangement. The 20th Anniversary Edition of the Micro marks two decades since the original release of the Mario series in Japan. It features an attractive red and gold design. The Nintendo Game Boy Micro plays Game Boy Advance Game Packs and GBA Video Game Packs. It also plays third-party GameShark and Action Replay DUO devices. The Nintendo GB Micro is compatible with the Nintendo GameCube link cable, allowing you and your friends to experience multiplayer games that require a GBA. The Micro is also compatible with the Micro Wireless adapters. Go ahead and ditch the normal link cables, and coordinate multiplayer games with ease. Beautiful limited edition system!
These are quite uncommon. GameBoy Micro, last in the GameBoy line never sold well, so they are rather uncommon. But the system plays well (GBA games only), sounds decent for a tiny speaker, and has a sharp, backlit display. The Famicom Edition was only sold in Japan for Mario's 20th anniversary, and has a beautiful design resembling the classic Famicom controller. If you are a hardcore Nintendo collecter, these are great to have.

Not the same GameboyMicro Famicom edition system as in the pictures shown.
I received a GameboyMicro famicom system that was NOT the same one as in the pictures. Mine came with dust bits and adhesive beneath the screen which are immovable without taking the whole GameBoy apart. Lightweight, Great for Quick Gaming Sessions, with a few Concessions
The Game Boy Micro is a great little system. It's great to have on hand with some quick, sporadic gaming sessions, and can fit in almost any small space. The only drawbacks are the size (it might cramp your hands) and lack of backwards-compatibility (plays only Game Boy Advance games).

Micro indeed!
This thing is really tiny, I mean tiny! It's hard to get my adult hands around it, especially for the L+R buttons, but it'll be perfect for slipping in my pocket on the way out the door for a business trip etc. It's so tiny that I wouldn't use it for every day play in my home, but then for that I've got plenty of other ways to play GBA games.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Gameboy micro is the best gameboy.

Micro but powerful
