With a good 5G service this delivers all the 5G promises
For me this has proved to be a wonder device. I had been using a Huawei B535-232 router with Three out of town in Sheffield UK. When I first started with this approach I would get peaks of 80mb down and around 50mb up. But over the past 3 years that has dwindled. This was because to get good enough signal I had to use a pair of yagi aerials, which then began to fail due to corrosion. Strong winds would also cause allignment issues so it was an inconvenient arragement. Three couldn't confirm 5G for me but needed to do something. This device came up on ebay at a good price so chose it. With eager anticipation I set it up on upstaires bedroom window ledge on the side of house facing existing mast. The 5G light came on but only getting 4G with around 40mb down which was a big improvement. Did the same on the back of the house but this time astounded at getting over 600mb down! It's now been mounted on the outside of the house on the wall for over two weeks giving great results from a mast in Woodhouse without the need for complicated aerial arrangments. Speeds range from 300mb+ up to over 700mb. Upload speeds have never been over 110mb. The device is well made and appears to be durable. I have it mounted so it's not exposed to long term sunlight during the day. Access to signal strength details is not available once you begin to use bridge mode but that's is just part of how it works. It really is intended to be a fit and forget device. Hope that proves to be the long term experiance.
