I purchased these to use as Wi-Fi access “iPods” for my Choral classroom. The “service” they are with matters not because they will not ever be put into actual phone use. The devices are good and are clean. Bad Phone
I didn't pay that much so I guess it's a, you get what you pay for situation. I'm not sure if all iPhone 4's are like this. But the GPS will not speak, and you have to manually swipe to the next step after you've completed one during navigation. Which is an absolute recipe for an accident. I expected not being able to updated to the newest software with it being a 4. But I did not expect to not be able to download very popular apps, such as Twitter. I have Verizon, and have been with them for years now. I've lived at the same residence, had multiple other phones, some being iPhones, and I've always got great reception at my house. With this device it drops almost every call that is made inside my house. I've had it for just under two months now. Within the last week it's developed two new problems. It will not connect to any devices, such as my computer. So I can add files, etc. To top it off, you also have to power it down to charge it now. Which is absolutely ridiculous, and inconvenient. Good little phone
While this phone is not the best of the best it does the job. It's functional without all the glitz and glamour. I especially like that it doesn't take up half of my face while I am talking on the phone. Of course any iPhone is better than the newest Adroid device out there at the moment. Bought for my daughter
Bought for my daughter, she was excited because she loves the style of the iPhone 4 phones. However after setting it up for activation we realized at that time that the phone is pretty much obsolete. The iOS is 7.1.2 and is not compatible with any apps. The phone cannot be updated (sites on the web say there's ways to jailbreak, etc., but seems complicated and possibly risky to do if you're a novice) so she didn't want it. A new iPhone for little money!
I was looking for a functional phone that would give me options. My son said that he really liked his iPhone 4 even though it wasn't as fast or as exciting as the newer ones. I don't need 4g and I like the good camera. Everything is crisp when you use the touch screen. So to me it is the perfect phone which I use on the Page Plus 12 plan.
