This Youngs Super Yeast Compound is designed for home brewing wine and will make up to sixty gallons. Super Yeast is formulated with high alcohol, nutrients, and minerals for fast fermentation. Just add one heaped teaspoon for every gallon directly to the wine mixture. Fast clearing and simple to use. Once opened, reseal and refrigerate and use within three months.

Makes great bread!
At the mo cant get breadmaking yeast so i ordered this. Bread comes out really nice. 2teaspoons of yeast to approx 3dl liquid and then add flour as needed. Easy! Liquid needs to be about 50°. A little salt, a little sugar and a bit of oil. Dough takes a long time to rise but end result is good.

A great yeast!! brewing to a high alcohol content without fail and contains nutrients, however I still add a little extra plus vit b1 thiamine tablet for a vigorous ferment!!! Certainly brews a good wine with a get pissed quick edge!!! 😂😂😂🍻🍻🍻

First impressions are fantastic
I have yet to see how the end product tastes (super-yeasts can impart their own flavour) but as a yeast this is unbeatable. It was relentless in fermenting out a truly challenging high sugar brew. It's settled well (clearing perfectly). In another year's time I'll let you know how it tastes!

Never fails to work its magic. I once made the mistake of 'stocking up' which I wouldn't recommend, as it is definitely better fresher, and I keep mine in the fridge. I only make country wines from ingredients such as oak leaves, nettles, elderberries, etc., and this yeast compound always produces a good, lively, fermentation. The fact that it's in a tub, rather than a sachet, is, I find, much more convenient.

I have been using Young's Super Wine Yeast Compound for many years to make all sorts of wine and cider. It is highly reliable, doing well even at autumn temperatures, and economical, a 60g pot will do 12-15 one gallon demijohns.
