It's O.K., but I preferred the earlier version.
It's supposed to be an 'improvement' on the earlier version, I suppose, but the sponge tends to wobble about if you don't use is in straight lines, (the flexible Nylon? connector) unlike the previous version. This make it harder to concentrate on a spot that might require a little bit more rubbing. With the sponge and fitting, be careful not to use very hot water; this can soften the glue, and the sponge will fall out. There is no way to get it back to stay. Otherwise, it's O.K.; it's the only one of its type that I can see, and is quite handy.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Not fit for purpose
The pump action on this mop to squeeze out the water doesn't work. Also the mop head flips over when wiping the floor. I wrote to the manufacturers to complain but it is too much hassle and expense to return it. Total waste of money.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Wouldn't recommend - nothing like the original reliable version.
I had one of the original Vileda Magic Mops for many years which was superb, hence buying this one as a replacement. On opening, it appeared similar, but when using this one, it's a great disappointment. With every movement the handle keeps unscrewing when washing a floor. So frustrating. I wouldn't recommend this.
