What a load of total rubbish avoid I taught sealy was a good make it is not avoid avoid not sellers fault
Not sellers fault !
but this don’t do what it says! I looked on line at this product and they must use 15 Inch tyres and 14 inch rims or something because this works a treat on demos but in reality it sucks a large one !
This product is not fit for purpose I was changing 235/45/17 tyres on my Audi A4 a normal car and I wrecked the bar in a couple of hours I got one on ok but the 2nd there was no way this would do the job
I’ve come too the conclusion that this is a job for a tyre shop and without a tyre machine is not worth trying for your self fancy bars for £90 are pants and yes sealy if you read this I’ll have my money back unfortunately your wonder bar is in my scrap pile so I can’t send it back too you it’s crap don’t don’t buy it u will be disappointed
Don't use this on low profile tyres. The lever is well made but one of the nuts holding the rollers on was cross threaded on mine and so it was not tightened correctly. I noticed this before using it and reset this but it would have made the lever unusable. Putting 60 profile tyres on 16 inch wheels was fine and it can be thoroughly recommended for that. The flexibility of the side wall means that the lever can be kept at 30degrees to the rim so the nylon pad is in contact with the edge of the rim and the rim remains unmarked.. Works fine. However.... on a 19 inch rim with 40 profile tyres the lever will always scratch the alloy. The side wall is too stiff so the lever is forced at an acute angle to the rim and damage to the alloy rim is inevitable Don't risk it!! ***DO NOT USE WITH LOW PROFILE TYRES***
Okay I'll be 💯, when I seen this I thought it was the answer to my struggles. I mount a few tires at the house, all 20 in and all low profile. Let's just say this didn't work that well. But I used it anyway just not like i wanted with the cool wheels. 😆😁
The tyre bar used correctly (see YouTube for advice) helped me fit a motorcycle rear tyre without marking the alloy rim. Needs the tyre bar rollers and tyre and rim to be well soaped with the proper tyre lubricant.
