Father Brown - great acting, good storylines and very entertaining
Having watched the Father Brown TV series, since it first began. There were some episodes I had missed since it was first broadcasted. Therefore, I bought the boxset series 1-8 with the intention of watching each episode back to back. Thus far, the end of series one, is in sight. It certainly did not disappoint. Good acting, and terrific story lines. Some stories are heart rendering or heart warming. Some stories have a comedic element or are thought provoking. Wonderful acting, a great script. Definitely an entertaining drama. There is no mumbling or loss of conversation due to loud background music. Clear pronounciation, vocabulary and speech is evident. Fantastic attention to detail of that period is projected. Incorporating fashion, furniture, food, rationing and transport. Amazing depiction of the 1950's era. Altogether, I would certainly recommend the Father Brown Boxset for people to watch.
