Another excellent book from the great Mary Berry. Simple easy fast cakes with clear instructions that even a novice baker can follow and have success with. While this book is well presented it would be ideal for those who don’t have too much baking experience. Measure, throw it all in, and mix. What could be simpler. I do have experience so it just told me what works ok throwing it all together, as there are recipes you just can’t do that with.
