Greatest movie ever with great plot, great twists, great acting, directing, editing, AMAZING commentary with writer, producer and director that was interspersed with special feature clips just BEFORE a scene telling all the thinking, obstacles and creativity behind each and THEN you would see the scene! Each time I rewatched it with the commentary I wanted to watch the movie over again! Entertaining with an all star line up
Love this movie. Denzel is an amazing actor! Jim Caviezel does an outstanding job as the bad guy and Paula Patton, well she is so beautiful...with an all star cast including Val Kilmer, Bruce Greenwood & Adam Goldberg to name a few, is quite entertaining. The movie is about domestic terrorism where an explosion on a ferry kills several people. A team of investigators have a surveillance system that can look into the past up to 4 days. Denzel's character hopes to use this system to prevent the blast from killing hundreds of people and even prevent the death of a beautiful young woman that he becomes smitten with.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Why I loved this movie...
DEJA VU is one of those movies that you simply cannot get enough of. It has drama, suspense, sci-fi, action and it's a thriller all at the same time. The cast that was assembled for this movie is absolutely TOP NOTCH! You simply cannot go wrong with Denzel Washington, Val Kilmer, Paula Patton, Jim Caviezel, Bruce Greenwood and the many others who adorn the screen in this movie. The movie starts out really sad when a ferry filled with Navy crewman and their families are killed because of a terrorist's (Caviezel) bombing. An ATF agent (Washington) joins a special team of agents (Kilmer, Goldberg and Alexander) who have this amazing technology that allows them to fold back time so can see the terrorist and his moves leading up to the bombing. After the initial bombing when bodies were washing up on the shores of the river, a woman body, Claire (Patton) was discovered sparking an investigation that would set the whole movie in motion. What a truly imaginative idea this was for a movie. I really thought it was well put together and glad that (the movie) wasn't ruined by a sequel.
