The Rocky Horror Picture Show, the remake
Nothing can ever be as good as the original, but this comes a close second. The best part of the first movie was when Dr. Frankenfurter was tapping his shoes when he was coming down the elevator. The look on my mother-in-laws face was priceless when she got her first look of the Dr. In this version, the Dr. came from a some movable metal stairs that was near the ceiling. Everyone acted great in this version and I actually like the begining better then the original. The time warp dance had a lot more energy, and the music was more exciting. We watched it originally on TV, but the commercials killed the suspense. I bought this version on DVD, and we weren't disappointed. Tim Curry was even in this remake. Let's Do the Time Warp Again
I watched this movie the night it premiered, and then again when I got the DVD. Then I watched the original. Even though the songs were updated a little bit, and some songs seemed to have been added to the production, it's very engaging. Laverne Cox and all the rest of the characters did an amazing job with the remake, and Tim Curry as the narrator added a touch of nostalgia, and showed that he put his stamp on it.
