I am sure this would be a great asset to any mechanic / restorer of cars and I'm also sure it has plenty of very useful functions but comes with very limited information on how to use it or what you can do with it so without professional knowledge it is difficult to use properly. Not Perfect
A nicely made useful tool. However the power lead whilst it is 4.5 mtrs long is not long enough to reach the rear of my vehicle. The battery is situated under the Bonnet at the very front of the vehicle. If I want to test the trailer plug I am going to have to use an independent battery. Sealey PP! probe electrical tester
The Sealey PP1 is a really useful piece of equipment that doesn't cost the earth. It is a useful tool for establishing if power is present and also as a means of safely powering up fans, motors and electrical circuits. I even used one to energise a tractor solenoid to start it. This unit also works on voltages from 6-24 volts so will cover old cars up to commercials, making it very useful and not limited to 12 volts as some devices are. It can power up light circuits on vehicles so you know the wiring is sound, good if you are doing repairs or installing from new.
