Good cutting blades
The blades have good cutting power, however the design of the cutting head could be improved. Any retaining cut fluff catches in the outer plastic surrounding the metal foil head. Although a small bristle brush is provided, it can't remove fluff from these hard to reach areas and may build up and prevent the blades from working. It's easy to empty the detachable container, which clicks back into place. The small brush could be better angled in order to reach and remove fluff stuck inside the head of the rotating blade area. Thought it would perform better
Have many clothing items and over the period of use they have become bobbled over certain areas of friction. Brought a cheap Chinese one at first to get rid of the bobbles. Fail. It was rubbish didn't remove the bobbles and instead thought to myself buy cheap buy twice so this time invested in this JML bobble remover. Same result. You have to move the head over the bobbles over and over and over and again more over and the result are still the same. The head allows you to adjust it to different heights so I have it on the lowest setting as well as the high setting with no difference at all. This was all done on a hard flat surface as instructed. It very comfortable to hold as its a substantial size which is great. Battery life seems decent. All the components fit into place neatly, battery compartment and fluff catcher. But the actual performance of it is a total let down. Wouldn't buy again and instead have resorted to using a cheap BIC razor to run over the material which is proving to be better although messyVerified purchase: YesCondition: New

Works, but not well enough!
Sick to death of constantly picking bobbles from my clothes, I thought I’d fork out for a BobbleOff. It requires 2x AA batteries which are not included, and the motor is noisy. The product feels cheap and flimsy and is a bit finicky to put together, but I wouldn’t have minded any of this if it was effective! Reader, it isn’t. The holes the bobbles are meant to go through to be chopped off by the blade are simply too small for most bobbles. I had hoped to lay my jumpers out flat and simply run the device over each section once, quickly. Instead I had to sort of target each bobble by pressing it against the device with my fingers behind the fabric, and one jumper took approx 30 minutes!! It wouldn’t have taken much longer to pick them off by hand, though you’d have a messier result. This product is a great idea, poorly executed. Fitting batteries was a challenge but otherwise fine

I went for JML because of name as thought it would do a grand job but after sitting trying to get fuzz of my jumpers gave up

My very expensive PJ's SAVED
During a very long spell of sickness my thoughtful friend bought me some pyjamas I nearly fainted when she told me how expensive they were. Yes you got it they hobbled after the 1st time I wore them. I bought the HMM bobble off to see if it would do the job....gosh it's more than good it's amazing. When I think of the clothes I've thrown out that the HMM bobble off could have saved...my favourite jumper that my late mum bought me...i could and have cried. I won't be throwing anymore out though. I'll just "DE-BOBBLE" them hopefully they'll live as long as my old jumper. Great Stuff HMM thankyou

Not great

Bit flimsy but does the job.
