  • Perfect fit for Merc GL, but be prepared!

Fits as intended. Supersedes the now obsolete (since Jan 2019) HV091. This replaced a 145k mile chain in a 2013 Mercedes GL350 X166 Diesel without offroad package. Transferbox OEM part number A2512802000. Job was time consuming and difficult considering that i was only able to lift the vehicle a further 20cm off the ground. Youtube videos may show a simplified version of removal but in my experience its so much more than that so be prepared. If the job entails just replacing the chain, then removing the rear half of the transfer box is the best thing to do (which is what I eventually did). Replacing all serviceable parts with a kit (chain, bearings and seals), then the whole box will need to come out (which is what I intended to do) but fail as i struggled to remove both propshafts. If anyone is interested in my installation encounter, then please message me directly.
