Better than expected
As far as build quality and battery performance is concerned I can tell no difference from the proper DeWalt batteries.. tried on multiple tools including an impact wrench, impact driver, heat gun and grinder and they all work at max performance. Had a small issue charging them on the DeWalt charger at first as the light went solid red before they were fully charged but corrected the issue by placing some weight on top. Seem to charge fine now however on a DeWalt charger. If I'm getting more batteries for my tools in the future it will be these unless they come with a good kit deal.

Struggles to charge
These batteries last much longer than my small Dewalt branded batteries that are a couple of years old and have been very well used. When putting them to charge, on the proper dewalt charger, it takes a lot of fiddling about to get the indicator light to flash. Most of the time the indicator light goes straight to solid red indicating the batteries are fully charged, even when they are as flat as a pancake. No issues with my proper dewalt batteries so I have to assume its these cheap copies that are at fault. Let's hope they're not a fire risk.

Great product and a must when you're using several Dewalt tools for a job.. it gives you that extra boost a lower Ah battery doesn't give and also a longer run time on a job.. 5* for this one..

Excellent battery

I would buy again
I cant fault this product I use my impact gun at work and they last as long as the dewalt batts at half the cost. they fit my gun as well as the dewalt ones and charge as quick. i got a replacement ni cad some years ago for my bosch drill and it would fall off my drill, so i was unsure about getting a pattern battery again, so pleased i did. I would buy again.

Great batteries at a great price!
Pros .Charges the same as the normal named ones .Power is the same .Fits snug on all my 18v XR tools .Uses the stock charger .Price (duh) Cons .Using it with my angle grinder I found I get around 5% less battery life than my DeWalt ones .Maybe warranty in the future but I can't really judge on this yet. Pretty much buy 2 at a time and get the most battery for your money

5.0 Dewalt XR Battery
As always with Dewalt build quality 5* my only issue is they are slightly overpriced, only stating this as all other makes of 18v batteries seem to be around £20 less!! I have the full range of Dewalt kit and always adding to it, so obviously I’m always buying batteries. I may start looking at the Flexi volt range, 9.0 could be the way forward for me.

Dewalt 5 ah 18v battery
Bought this to power my dewalt jigsaw for longer as I used 2 ah batteries before which it ran flat quickly. I did a joinery job the other day using jigsaw, multi tool and screwdriver. This battery I used for all three swapping it around between them. It lasted all day with one bar left and no loss of power at all at anytime. Charges very fast. I'm getting another as it is awesome.

Great battery, Decent quality for the price,
Works fine, the ones that turned up were red but not a problem really. I found one of my newer DeWalt chargers (rectangle ones) didn't like charging these batteries but the older Dewalt one (rounded edge) charged fast and fine. I wouldn't rate them for heavy loads such as a circular saw or hammer SDS drill as they struggled a little. However for impact drivers, hammer drill, radio, multitool they work great. Only had them a month so could all change but so far so good. Don't overheat when on charge so seem safe to use. Better than expected so far
