Your next razor is waiting for you!
I've been a fan of Braun for many years, but this is my first with the cleaning station. I'm really impressed. Not only is it a super close razor, but the cleaning station does a fabulous job. Another feature, the "tilting" head, makes it very comfortable to handle the contour of your jaw line. If there's a downside, its obviously the price. The closest shave
I am 77 years old and i have searched for years for a close comfortable shave, I have used blades, different shaving soaps, different electric razors, and tried growing a beard nothing worked until I purchased this series 9 Braun razor, I have had it now for almost 3 weeks the shave is the best i have had ever. A pleasure, great tool, I will go so far as calling it a my partner in daily hygiene.
The shaver is designed for men in the later stages of life. Men’s skin can get weaker, dryer, and thinner with age. This electric razor is considered Braun’s best. I believe the older we get, we should have the best of what life offers. It also came with a self cleaning device. This is just another plus for an older man as it gives him and opportunity to get on with what ever is left in life which is unknown to all of us really. Yet statistics would tell us that the older we get the less time we have left, so why waste time with cuts, and cleaning razors and sinks with hair. You don’t have to use the self cleaning device but it’s a real pleasure to know it’s one less dirty work job I have to take on. The shave is close and doesn’t need a pre-electric shave treatment to the face before shaving or shaving cream but you can use those things if you choose. The simplicity of the self cleaning device really lets you get on with your day rather than cleaning and maintaining the device. Yet I suspect during travel I will clean it on my own without the self cleaning base. If you do chose to use shaving cream, it should be rinsed on your own and not put back into the self cleaning base while it’s wet. To iterate, you can shave directly on dry untreated skin and just rest it in the self cleaning base to have it cleaned oiled and dried for your next use. Great Self-cleaning Razor System from Braun!!
I’ve used another self-cleaning razor product for about ten years now. And the problem with it was the cartridges were extremely expensive, hard to find and hard to use? It would also remain soppy wet for hours, sometimes a day or two after cleaning? And that razor did not cut your beard closely or quickly? The Braun however is none of that! The cartridges are inexpensive and easy to use, plus are not messy? When you clean the Braun, it goes through a cleaning cycle and once it’s fully cleaned, it then goes through a drying process where it completely dries the razor and you’re able to use it immediately after it finishes cleaning! So you and your Husband/Boyfriend are able to use it within minutes of each other and have a dry razor to use! And where the Braun razor has multiple razor heads within the razor itself, unlike my old self-cleaning razor which only had one razor head, the Braun razor cuts your beard quickly and smoothly without nicks on the first pass! If you’re a extremely busy professional like myself who wants a clean baby-smooth shave but has very little time to do it before the daily phone calls begin, this razor is for you! You can have a silky smooth baby-faced shave in less than three minutes with this razor! Then let it perform its self-cleaning and your Husband/Boyfriend is ready to use it in ten minutes for his own silky smooth baby-faced shave! I highly recommend this self-cleaning razor system from Braun for anyone, but especially for those extremely busy professionals who want a silky smooth baby-faced shave, but lack the time to do it! It's the best.

Braun still the king!

Another great Braun shaver, albeit, a little pricey.
Great shaver. Best model/series of Braun shaver I've ever used, and I've used several models in the past 20 or so years. Very gentle on my sensitive skin. Does better on multi-day growth than the series 7 does, but the series 7 did a prerttry good job too. Series 9 is definitely an improvement.
