A good guitar case to get when it's on sale!
I bought this Surf Green case when it was at a discounted price ($164.99) for a Fender USA '97 Stratocaster. It fits the guitar fine but there are a few things you should note before buying this. The inside layout has changed from old Fender guitar cases. I have another case from 2014/2015 and the little compartment used to be in the center of the case, not the corner. I prefer the old layout but I am also ok with this new one. Another thing that I noticed is there is little dots near the carry handle, not sure if this is intentional but I know other people who also have the dots on their case. Finally, be careful when you do get the case and want to open the little compartment inside. There is a little silver button on a black strap that you need to pull off then the compartment will open as intended. If you don't do that then you will cause the inside green material to peel off. I included some photos so you can see the things I'm talking about. Overall this case is a good one if you can get it on sale, it is sturdy and fits my Fender guitar. It comes with a key to keep the case locked in case you're gigging. In my case I just prefer hard cases over soft bag ones.

Oh, Brad.
I purchased this case in mid-Nov 2020 thinking Fender had solved their quality issue with these cases. Sadly, not so. My case arrived with 5 brads hammered through the exterior lining. Granted the brad heads are tiny but for $179 they shouldn’t be there. Plus the overall construction of the case is poor, replacing screws with staples on the edges of the case. Would this case protect your guitar? Yes, you just have to get past the crushing disappointment when you first unpack it.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great case for a Great Fender Price
I had to get case for my American professional Honey burst Telecaster guitar. First thing upon arrive I notice was how attractive the color and contour the case was. The inside is dead gorgeous, mine was green almost custom shop but not custom shop cash. The Fender cases are considered bargain next to there upper line G@G cases. I bought mine brand new through musician friends. Please get the bargain cases at these prices before everything go up sky high. They come with the keys and the latches are sturdy and not cheap. Handles are nice and fit. So I highly recommend buy this case, if you see one used at a reasonable offer buy it. If not keep your eyes open for one of these case. A bit spendy, but well built
A nice solid case (great color) and interior is padded quite well. As usual for the Fender name, you have to pay a price. If you can get one of these on sale....go for it. Hardware is good, all materials are solid. The snap down inside pocket is a nice touch. If you have a special Tele or Strat you want to protect, this will work. I read bad reviews and luckily ordered anyway
This is a great case! I read reviews before I ordered, and some were horrible. People complaining about nails sticking out and staples and what not. Some people just complain about anything they can. This case was cheap enough at $165, and looks fantastic. There are a couple nail holes showing near the handle. Fender quality control is slipping again, but still not a bad case for the money.
