Small but Powerful
Great blender. I am solely using this for smoothies, and they are ready in under a minute It is very powerful! Also, It has a very small footprint on the kitchen which is very important for me. Frozen fruits are not a problem at all for this beast. I usually blend fresh fruit, sliced frozen FRUITS, seeds, milk, etc. together to make smoothies. There is a handy guide included that mentions in which order all ingredients should be added for best performance and for preventing damages. Also, I use short bursts first and then blend it for another 20-30 seconds, and smoothies are ready.

Blends brilliantly Chops ice effortlessly Good size blending cups Only unexpected point is that the cup does not 'lock' onto the base so you have to physically push it down and hold it to activate the blender. This is not a problem as it blends so quickly. I only mention it because my old one used to have to 'lock' in place to activate it so I am used to that and as I read the instructions, it appears to me to suggest the same should happen with this, but I cannot get it to lock on but that doesn't matter.

A robust simple attractive machine with no frills. I'm hoping it will last a long time.
exactly what I'd hoped for. So far ...less than a month on, I've made a smoothie every day... a mix of any three or four of apple/celery/banana/orange kiwi /spinach/yogourt. Haven't tried hard veg like carrots yet or seeds or nuts does the mix in 30 seconds, no fussy buttons or pulse function, just press the cup and release. Cleaning is simple and it sits on my worksurface without taking up much room...always at hand. Makes one helping, which is what I want, and the two cups with lids suit me perfectly for storage or carrying.
