Happy so far.
This is the first printer I've had that centres the CD label print, regardless of what image software one uses. Much faster than my old Canon 7250. Prints photos a bit paler, but presumably uses less ink. The only negative point was its refusal to connect wirelessly. This was resolved by manually connecting using the screen on the printer. It's a nice compact size too, taking up less table space. I've used it daily for 2 weeks, and so far very happy with it.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Good printer, Bad cartridges.
This is the third Canon printer that I have owned over the past 25 years. As with all the previous printers, it is easy to set up & use. Decent replacement for IP7250.
Bought as replacement for Pixma IP7250. Good points are the print quality seems just as good, and it has a slightly smaller footprint and is much quicker to start up. Bad points are that it uses different ink cartridges, and options like disk label printing look rather more fiddly than the IP7250, and some of the plastic parts look more fragile. As we connect via a USB lead we have not tested the wireless connectivity.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Good little printer
Read a few negative reviews. I found everything to the contrary. The printer arrived on time. It was well packed. Once opened the instructions were clear and precise. And to the many negative and critical reviews about it being a nightmare to set up I found it just the opposite. I have owned many canon printers. Some have been a bit of a bind to set up, but the canon tr705 was a doddle. The easiest canon to set up wirelessly I have ever had. Print-out is good, speed is good and it takes up very little room. The printer was very easy to set up, much simpler than Canon's previous model. It produces good quality prints, although the individual sheet photo paper feed is a little awkward to use and is not as convenient as the cassette system used on their previous model. Compact printer with good print quality
Compact printer with good print quality. Can use 3 sizes of printer ink cartridges for whatever use you use it. Double sided printed is useful and allows ink to dry without risking smudging the print. It has two paper trays for if you use two different papers. An excellent photo printer
I needed a replacement for my expired Pixma ip4700. I had an online chat with Canon and they suggested the TS705. I did fancy a printer with the refillable tanks but couldn't find one that was cheap and did auto-duplex printing. So having bought the TS705 I am very pleased with it and the photo print quality is excellent. It is very similar to the ip4700 only better. It came with a set of "Standard" cartidges which are lasting for ages. I did, in fact, find it a bit complicated sorting out the printer driver and various untilities and I found that I ended up duplicating some of them, but a couple of "uninstalls" sorted that out. The cassette paper holder takes an enormous 350 sheets which will save time having to refill it. A small problem with the "Automatically select paper source" is that it suddenly reverted to wanting to print from the "Rear" feeder. I eventually found that I had to reset this using the built in LED screen settings on the printer. Remanufactured cartridges are available online and a heck of a lot cheaper than the Canon originals. Does the job
Bought this because my IP 7250 died on me and there aren't that many printers that print straight to discs, this one does the job and I love the fact that I can print onto lables or photo paper from the rear try so don't have to open the main tray before printing.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
