Good little drill
Needed a light weight hammer drill to use for short duration light use really small not much power but for normal concrete walls tiles and block work 6mm 7mm perfect I'm buying a bigger amp battery didn't get many holes out of 3amp battery but after using a 36v hammer drill which was too heavy for years its heaven for my type of work

The slowest and weakest SDS drill I have ever used, only keeping due to the small size. If you use a drill daily I wouldn't recommend this drill, unless your on a day rate then its great for wasting time.

Small very versatile SDS drill
The size compared to the cable makita sds drills is unbelievable, you are able to work at heights that made my arms ache when using the heavy cable type Makita’s yes it does not have the chisel function but I have not used this or had to on the cabled sds , it does not bother me. Yes it’s not as powerful but is very adequate .

Fantastic addition to my kit

Makita at its best.
As a joiner I use hammer drills on a regular basis. Delighted to have added this to my tool kit. Used numerous times over the past few days drilling stone, brick and concrete. Just as good as my colleagues twin 18v Makita, a lot lighter too. Does have limitations as it’ll only drill up to 17mm, can’t remember the last time I needed to drill more than that to be honest.

Makita SDS battery hammer drill
When I got the SDS hammer drill I thought oh no I've made a mistake it's too small. I tried it on seat and drill 100 M14 holes at 150mm deep. I was amazed how much power for such a small piece of kit. The battery lasted amazingly well on it and very compact piece of kit. 100% recommend this amazing tool.
