Easy to set up and works well
We have a BT router which has poor WiFi. This extender was very simple to set up with little lights which tell you whether you are too close to the router or too far away when setting up, and then same for when you plug it in where you want to use it. Did not work in my situation
This was the second branded range extender that I have used and neither one helped the problem. I wanted to get the internet wirelessly to my office, situated in a close by outbuilding but this was not up to the job. Had to hard wire LAN cable in the end. Won't totally condemn it, just not up to what I had hoped. I guess it must work somewhere or else trade descriptions would have closed off the advertising.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

easy to install

Very easy to set-up
I have finally found a remedy for the poor WiFi on the top floor of my flat which at best had poor reception and coverage. Setting up is simple with clear instructions. I did make one error in the process, and that was when trying to connect to the internet I was entering the gadgets password and not the router, which led to thinking yet another piece of kit not working. I am really impressed with the results and can now get fast loading times on mobiles, tablets and laptops. I really wish that I had known about this earlier, but had been put off by reviews that extenders are not up to the job. Reliable but not fully configurable
Good value booster that does the job. Big let down in that it prefixes your router SSID with EXT- which is annoying. It does not allow you to set the SSID to the router SSID which would be much more logical & efficient.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

JUST the job
I wanted to get Wifi to my older style Youview box in the bedroom, so was delighted when this came to my attention (via HUKD web site) As mentioned by others, it's very easy to set up. I then re-tuned the Youview box, and BINGO, I NOW have iPlayer Apps and internet channels on the bedroom set top box. I THOUGHT I had a problem when I made the connection, and got the "No internet" message on the screen when I selected an internet channel, but I think it was due to my having connected the unit to my Youview box with the wrong colour cable (yellow worked, but I tried grey first) As soon as I changed it, the message on-screen said "connecting" and seconds later I was FULLY up n running.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Refurbished
