Use with care
This is a powerful weedkiller, easy to overspray onto grass if used to kill weeds in gravel paths and drives - so use when no wind about. If possible spray after a couple of days of warm / sunny weather to increase take-up by weeds (not easy in Scotland)! I use dilution of 300ml to 10 L of water, then backpack spray, just when you think it hasn't worked the weeds go brown or disappear.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Good weed killer but potency limited to 1-2 years
Plastic cup rather flimsy and was found to be crushed when package was opened. I have used this product before. I bought a 2-litre bottle before. It worked quite well at first but seemed to lose its potency quite fast and when I tried to use it 2 years after I bought it, it was no longer working on weeds. Bought this to control fine grass & weeds on a gravel covered drive. Applied before we went away on holiday recently & when we came back 10 days later no sign of the annoying weeds or grass. Will go a long way as needs to be diluted before use. I will be re -applying every three or four months to ensure they don't return. The only weedkiller that I use now. I did try others, including the 30% acetic acid with surfactant, and that seemed to work brilliantly, with the weeds and grass wilting within a couple of hours. Within 2 days, they were all brown. Unfortunately, by the second week, they started turning green again, so all it does it burn the surface of them. Best weedkiller I've ever used!!
This is the ONLY weedkiller I have ever found which kills ivy right down to the root. I also used it on an overgrown drive ..I know the weeds were killed to the roots as it took 3 months for new weeds to come back. This time I'm going to see if I can get rid of some stubborn Russian vine which I've hated for years.
