Quickest way to get to the phone
I always have trouble getting to the phone before it goes to the answering machine, but as I always carry my mobile in my pocket this unit solves the problem. It avoids using call forwarding and also allows me to make calls on the landlines using my mobile. It is really easy to set up too. I like the way it only needs a WiFi connection and I don't have to pay for a voice over IP service. As a bonus, if you want, you can register and then receive and make landlines calls even when you are away from home. Not reliable
This voice bridge is not what I expected,sometimes it worked sometimes it doesn't. I was very excited about the product unfortunately I'm very disappointed. When someone calls you, you can hear your phone rings but the call doesn't appear on the phone screen. I have caller display with my phone provider but the device don't always shows who's calling. Perfect for some needs .
For what we need it for this works well. Entry wall mounted buzzer / phone for building only calls landlines to then press # key for opening door. This replicates to mobile any calls and allows opening. There is a two-ring wait difference between landline handset and mobile (calls come through on both by using rj11 phoneline splitter adapter). Small price though for ability. Works any wifi and on mobile data too. They no longer make them but is unobtrusive and good hardware quality. Works as advertised for me. Needed to be able to answer home phone as some services insist on using that no rather than my mobile.
