Wonderfully Eccentric.
Great fun and absolutely mad, rather kitsch but well designed - and amazing. Slightly let down by the paperwork. Tantalizingly, there is a running list of tunes, but only in Japanese. The supplier sent me a valiant attempt at translation on my request for more information, which is very useful, even with a few charming mistranslations ( I particularly like "One Fine Day" from "The Butterfly Lady".) Also there is a slight misrepresentation. There are not 52 different tunes as stated. The tunes are in three sets. The second set (14 tunes) is a subset of the first - all of these tunes are within set 1, which has 33 tunes. The third set (5 tunes) are Christmas tunes. I don't think I could stand this set repeating, even at Christmas! There are therefore 38 different tunes, five of which I doubt will be played more than once in my presence! In summary, it's a large, plasticky, brassy, OTT bit of nonsense, and I love it! It also is driven by a very accurate quartz movement.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
